Human skill:

“Human skills are the ability to work well with others”( Williams, C. & McWilliams, A. 2013.pp14). McDonalds do not attach great importance to employees’ educational background. Therefore, most employees should work from a basic level. Due to it, workers in McDonalds could be sensitive to others’ needs, feelings and viewpoints. Compared with other companies, the relationship between employees and employers would be better. It would make the work more efficient and effective.

What are three important management skills?

Companies look for employees who would have technical skills, human skills, conceptual skills and the motivation to manage.

 

Technical skill:

“Technical skills are the ability to apply the specialized procedures, techniques and knowledge required to get the job done.”(Williams, C. & McWilliams, A. 2012.pp14) They say in the textbook that technical skills are the ability to find new sales prospects, develop accurate sales pitches based on customer needs and close the sale. In the process of becoming stronger, McDonalds improve their technical skills. McDonalds pay much attention to customers, for example, they smile at every customer. Their goals are to make customers feel as well as possible. Therefore, McDonalds combine quality of food and cleanliness with value of customers. That is they see the organization as a whole, and know how the different parts affect each other and recognize how the company fits into or is affected by its environment
